for the MyNotables software application
(the “Application”)

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO USE THE APPLICATION. IF YOU CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO USE THE APPLICATION, YOU WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY SET OUT BELOW.

This privacy policy for the Application (“Privacy Policy”) explains what type of information we collect from users of the Application, what we do with the information you provide to us and how you can access this information.

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the Application, how is it used and with whom may it be shared?
  2. MyNotables will only collect your first and last name and your email address (collectively the “Personal Information”) that you provide in order to set up an account to use the Application. We will use your email address to respond to you regarding your Application support requests and other enquiries you may make. In addition, unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email to tell you about new features or functionality of the Application or to request your comments, feedback or participate in a survey regarding the Application.

    If you provide comments, feedback and/or responses to survey questions, we may use that information without obligation to you and you hereby irrevocably assign to MyNotables all right, title and interest in that information.

    We will not sell or rent your email address to anyone. However, we may share your Personal Information with our third party vendor, DevLift Media, who is responsible for addressing your technical Application support requests in respect of the Application.

    We may provide your Personal Information as permitted by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or when we believe that release is appropriate to comply with the law, investigate fraud, respond to a government request, enforce or apply our rights, or protect the rights, property, or safety of us or our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection.

    All information you submit when using the Application (“Customer Data”) will be hosted by Google and as such, Google’s Security Model located at [https://cloud.google.com/security/] will apply to such Customer Data. You are responsible for your use of the Application and Customer Data submitted and must ensure that you comply with Google’s Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you agree that your use of the Application and Customer Data submitted will not violate the legal rights of others, including infringing or misappropriating the intellectual property rights of others. Please review all other requirements of Google’s Acceptable Use Policy located at [https://cloud.google.com/terms/aup].

    We will not use your Customer Data except as necessary to provide Application support services.

  3. What security procedures do we use to protect your information?
  4. Your Personal Information is stored in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public. While MyNotables uses reasonable measures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your Personal Information when stored on our systems.

    Your Customer Data is stored on Google’s systems and therefore, is covered by the security measures and data storage practices set out in Google’s Security Model. By using the Application, you consent to the processing and storage by Google of your Customer Data.

  5. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your information?
  6. You may opt out of any future communication from us at any time. You may contact us by email at help@mynotables.com to ask that we (i) refrain from contacting you, (ii) correct, update or delete your Personal Information from our files, or (iii) express any concern regarding your Personal Information, your Customer Data or other content posted by other users of the Application. Please contact us immediately if you become aware of or suspect that content posted by other users of the Application violates any of the terms of Google’s Acceptable Use Policy.

  7. Does the Application offer publicly accessible message boards and community forums?
  8. The Application offers publicly accessible community forums. You should be aware that any Customer Data that you post on such community forums may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. You have the ability to remove your Customer Data from such community forums. For assistance on how to remove Customer Data from such community forums, please contact us at help@mynotables.com.

    You can access the Application using Facebook’s sign-in services (“SN Service”). If you choose to use Facebook to access the Application, the Information and Customer Data you provide is tied to your Facebook account.

    The Facebook SN Service will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign up form. If you want us to delete the data we receive via third parties about you, please contact us at help@mynotables.com.

    In addition, the Application includes social media features, such as the Share button. These features may collect your IP address and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features are hosted by other third parties. As such, your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

  9. Is this Privacy Policy subject to change?
